The History of the Grands Jardins de Normandin These magnificent gardens opened in 1996, thanks to the tenacity of one of the region's sons. Gérald Bélanger, a lover of life and things beautiful, imagined and designed these gardens classified among the most beautiful in the country. His imagination created an ensemble of pleasure gardens that immerses the visitor in the midst of an extraordinary atmosphere. These gardens have already conquered the hearts of several hundred thousand visitors who were instantly seduced by the unexpected decor and the change of scenery they bring. The creator of these highly colourful gardens wanted them to be pleasing to those who love beauty and, at the same time, to highlight certain eras that were extremely important in the evolution of the art of gardening through the millenniums.
